Do you provide free quotations?
Yes. We are happy to provide a free, no-obligation quotation following an assessment of the work required.
Do I need permission to have a tree removed or pruned?
Some trees are protected by a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) or may be located within a Conservation Area. Permission may therefore be required before work can be carried out. We can advise you on this and help establish whether any restrictions apply.
How do I know if my tree is dangerous?
Signs of a potentially dangerous tree can include large dead branches, significant cracks, decay, fungal growth, damaged roots, excessive leaning or branches hanging over buildings, roads or public areas. If you have concerns about a tree, we recommend arranging a professional inspection.
Can you remove a tree that is close to a house or building?
Yes. Our experienced team can carry out tree work in confined or difficult locations using appropriate equipment and professional working methods to minimise risk and protect surrounding property.
Do you remove all the waste after completing the work?
Yes. Unless otherwise agreed, we can remove branches, logs, wood chippings and other green waste from site, leaving the area tidy on completion.
Can you grind out tree stumps?
Yes. Stump grinding is available as part of our tree services and can be arranged following tree removal or as a separate service.
How long does tree work take?
The time required depends on the size and condition of the tree, access to the site and the type of work required. We will provide an estimated timescale as part of your quotation.
Do you work on trees near roads or public areas?
Yes. We regularly undertake tree work where additional safety precautions are required, including trees overhanging roads, footpaths and other public areas. Appropriate traffic and pedestrian management can be arranged where necessary.
What happens if a tree is damaged during a storm?
If you have a storm-damaged or potentially dangerous tree, contact us as soon as possible. We can assess the situation and advise on the safest way to make the tree or area secure.
Do you carry out hedge trimming?
Yes. We provide professional hedge trimming and reduction services, including work on large and overgrown hedges.
Do you provide ongoing tree maintenance?
Yes. We can recommend a suitable maintenance programme to help keep your trees healthy, safe and well maintained.
